How a byline works

  1. One name per piece. Every review and guide carries exactly one writer, the person who did the listening. Nothing is credited to a desk or to the publication itself.
  2. The byline links to the writer's page. That page lists everything they have reviewed and the verdicts they have given.
  3. One scale for every writer. Every writer scores against the same published scale and verdict bands. The verdict stays with the person who listened.
